Celebrating Success

We believe that it is important that the girls take a pride in themselves and our school community. The environmental officers have launched a new initiative to encourage everyone to take more responsibility for our school environment. They carry out weekly spot checks to find out which classes are making an effort to keep their work spaces and classrooms tidy and organised.
In carrying out their weekly checks, the girls gather results to support our environmental action plan. It helps us to set realistic targets and measure our success in meeting environmental objectives.
Each week, during our celebration assembly, they present their class award to the class that not only has a well-organised and tidy room, but that is recycling and turning off lights, and ensuring girls don’t waste energy by making sure windows and doors are shut when classrooms are not in use.
