ISA Dance Competition

We were proud to host the ISA Dance Competition. Working alongside Hale Prep School, we organised the regional event, which included 13 schools competing from across the North of England. The standard of all of the dances was incredibly high, which made it a real challenge for our adjudicator, Miss Stalder to select a winner from KS1 and KS2.
Our Bowdon Prep girls didn’t disappoint and danced their hearts out. Our Juniors performed a ‘Billy Elliot’ inspired ballet dance and an upbeat street dance routine and they both finished joint 4th place. However, our Year 2 pupils performed brilliantly to ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’, showing fantastic energy and timing. As a result, they were chosen as winners of the KS1 category!
All of the dances will be performed again at our upcoming Performing Arts Evenings in the summer term.
